On October 18 at RUSL named after L.N. Tolstoy was an Evening of Ukrainian songs:”Let’s sing lively songs”.  Ukrainian song creativity was presented by ensembles: vocal group "Lira", the vocal group of the choir "Harmony", "Girlfriends." A special tribute of honor and memory was given to the first head of the Ukrainian cultural center in Kostanay, talented poet and composer, enthusiasts of the business - Kirilyuk A.M.

Today he is no longer among us but his songs continue to sound from the scene.

The evening was visited by grain farmers - virgin landers, civil servants, teachers, cultural workers and the public city. All the guests joined to love for well-known, have already become international Ukrainian songs. For the present guests was offered a book exhibition "Panorama of Ukrainian Literature", on which especial interest created by fiction, books about traditions and national character of Ukrainians.
