On May 16 took place Regional Festival – Contest of English Song «Mix of talented people» dedicated to the fifth anniversary of the program «American corners and cultural centers» in Kostanay. This program is realizing by Kostanay Regional Universal Scientific Library named after L.N.Tolstoy. Peculiarity of «Mix of talented people» 2014 was the partnership and co-organization with the Center of «Youth Initiative». Organizing committee consisted of ACK’s volunteers.
Total number of people willing to take part in the Festival was 52. They were from Kostanay and from Auliekol district. At a preliminary stage the audition was held, during which 28 singers were chosen. The Festival began at the concert platform of the city amusement park. The program was opened by Kazakh folk dance and «Shashu». Director of Regional Library G.Kazina and director of the center «Youth Initiative» Timur Shukenov addressed welcoming words to the audience and participants of the Festival.
Strong wind and rain interfered into the program and it was continued at the library’s concert hall.
