On February 27 in American Corner a seminar for heads of methodical unities of teachers of English and for Methodists of Education department supervising development of English at schools was organized. It was held together with the Regional scientific practical center “Kostanai Dariny”.

The theme of the seminar was “Improvement of teacher’s professional competence as essential means for development of  learners’ functional skills”

36 people from 13 places of Kostanai region participated the seminar. All of them got presents: the journal “Forum”, DVD “American Corners in Kazakhstan” and “If you want to study in the United States” for spread information to distant schools of the Region.

Coordinators  of ACKostanai held presentation of the program “American Corners and Cultural Centers in Kazakhstan” and presentation of  new arrival of books  on Methodology of the English Language teaching.
