| The photo exhibition «One Victory» | 07.05.2015 | The photo exhibition works in the library science the 7th of May.
The main purpose of the exhibition: the preservation of facts and events of the past for present and future generations. A collection of photos from the Central state archive of cinema and photo documents of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the National archives of the United States on the Second World War and received from the U.S. Embassy in Kazakhstan. The exhibition reflects the overall efforts and contributions of citizens of Kazakhstan and the United States of America in the Victory, the role of Alliance between the USSR and the USA during the World War II. Photo exhibition illustrates the courage of the soldiers at the front, fighting people in the rear: women – nurses, pilots, workers in defense plants. The exhibition "One Victory" presents rare photos Baurzhan Momyshuly and soldiers of the famous Panfilov division, sniper Aliya Moldagulova and the gunner Manshuk Mametova – Heroes of the Soviet Union, photos of little-known heroes who fought at the front with the forces of the fascist bloc.
The exposition depicts the Kazakhs, collecting rice, coal mining, helping the wounded in the hospitals. All for the great Victory. A photo exhibition will be a unique opportunity to attract new visitors to the library, to improve their information culture. | | | |
